Founder and Principal
Imran once dreamed of running his own project management company, and got involved in project management early in his career as a young Canadian Naval Officer. He developed a passion for delivering on major weapon systems and ICT projects and began taking on clients between 1997 and 2002 first as the Chief Engineer for Science Application International Corporation, and then later running his own small project management services company. He later joined the Canadian Public Service taking on the responsibility for the developed and operations of the e-government enabled Secure Channel project. Later, he became the Director General for Project Management and Implementation Readiness within the newly created Shared Services organization. After spending over 32 years in both the military and the public service, Imran took his early retirement and started the Strategic Services Consulting and strategy business (incorporated as 2372617 Onatrio Inc.). He recognized that surrounding himself with great talented people was a critical success factor in this business, and he collaborated with subject matter experts as associates of Strategic Services Consulting organization.
Imran oversees the project management practise and senior advisory services direction at Strategic Services Consulting , as well as business development.
He loves Track & Field, swimming, and is into amateur photography.
Samina Ali, BA
VP HR Strategies & Policy Analysis
Samina has traveled all over the world and worked as an HR Executive with the Canadian Federal Government over the last 34 years. She has significant Procurement and HR policy development experience as well. Otherwise known in the office as the networker, Samina’s charm and willingness to talk to anyone and everyone has been key to building our local client base. Her focus is primarily with Government clients helping them achieve their HR Transformation goals, Business Planning, and alignment of strategy with the HR strategy.She is aso a key resource for our clients that are looking at establishing strong governance, related processes and a collaborative operating environment. She is often depoyed to help clients asses their talent pool and create a talent management plan.
While Samina loves eating out, her own ability to dazzle guests at her place with her culinary skills is second to none!

Saif had dreams of becoming an actor in Indian film industry, but he turned into a computer systems and modeling specialist! Two out of three is not bad, but if we ever decide to produce a web advert we know we already have it cast. Saif got his Phd from Univeristy of Surrey in Computer Science, and his Masters from University of Birmingham. Saif is our senior consultant on innovation. He is also an entrepeneur in applied medical reasearch and develping products to align with the research.
Soophia loves to make things, from pixel-perfect web graphical ideas to screen printed posters. She loves to teach as our education counselor for communication strategies. She also has clients that she works with to teach English as a second language. Soophia got her MA from Chatham College and her Phd in English Literature from Aligarh Muslim University. She is great at creating briefing notes, reviewing RFPs, and and being creative with technical writing structure. Despite her fondness for chit chat, Soophia is a bit of a book worm and likes nothing more than a night in with a good book.
